Orison’s rebuilding effort gives haulers and crafters a job
Alpha 4.10.1’s 14 relief contracts bring medical supplies, resources and replacement platform thrusters into the fight for Orison.
Orison needs more than another gunfight. Alpha 4.10.1’s relief effort puts resource gathering, medical deliveries and replacement platform thrusters alongside the fight against the Nine Tails. For crews who would rather put a hold full of supplies to work than spend the whole evening trading fire, that is the interesting change: rebuilding gets a place in the response.
Four ways to help a battered city
The Nine Tails have attacked Orison’s platforms and killed security personnel and civilians indiscriminately. Crusader Industries is coordinating with support organisations to supply and secure the relief effort, treating the city’s recovery as a matter of security for the wider Stanton system.
Alpha 4.10.1 introduced 14 new contracts, scheduled to run for three weeks until the release of Alpha 4.10.2. They offer themed armour and weapon rewards for helping repair Orison. The work falls into four broad activities:

Event rewards are attributed directly to the player’s RSI Platform account and can be viewed in My Hangar on the website. It gives the relief effort something to work towards beyond another completed delivery: armour and weapons attached to your account.
For a mixed crew, the appeal is the spread of jobs. Gathering, hauling and crafting all have a place beside combat, so the relief effort offers a reason to organise around more than who brought the biggest gun. A crew can choose the part of the recovery that suits it, from supplying the effort to confronting the gang responsible.
After the siege: the Akuma and Raven EX
The aftermath also brings Nine Tails-marked equipment into view: a heavily modified power suit, weapons, armour and a matching Drake Cutlass paint. The Argo ATLS IKTI Akuma has a steadier rate of fire and greater impact than the standard IKTI. The scorched industrial look is a good fit for the aftermath of the siege, with the Akuma at the centre of that Nine Tails identity.
The Aegis Sabre Raven EX rounds out the patch’s vehicle showcases. Back on Orison, though, the job is recovery: getting supplies where they are needed, replacing damaged infrastructure and pushing back against the Nine Tails. That is a strong premise for a Stanton evening with friends, whether your contribution arrives in a cargo hold or at the business end of a weapon.
