Star Citizen Roadmap Roundup - July 30, 2025

Hey pilots, time for another sitrep on the Roadmap. Every couple of weeks the devs pull back the curtain and give us a peek at what’s shifting around in development. This week’s Roundup keeps that spirit of transparency alive — letting us know not just what’s moving, but why.

Quick refresher: that “1.0” column on the Roadmap isn’t a vault you’ll have to wait years to crack. Features in there can (and often do) arrive ahead of Star Citizen’s 1.0 launch, sliding into point patches once they’re cooked and ready. So when you see something cool in that column, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ages away.

Alright, let’s check out what changed this time around.

Notable Changes: July 30, 2025

Release View

4.2.1

Every card under version 4.2.1 has now been marked as Released. So if you’ve been waiting on anything in that list, it’s officially in the ‘verse.

4.3

New Hairstyles (4.3.0)
Fresh looks are coming your way — three new hairstyles will be available. This card has also been given a slick new visual.

Dynamic Snow
Snowfall joins the weather systems! Using the same tech that drives dynamic rain, certain snowy locations will now actually get falling snow depending on conditions. This card has a brand-new visual to show it off.

Wikelo Special Ships (4.3.0)
Wikelo’s Emporium is expanding with some very unique rides:

  • MISC Starlancer TAC
  • Drake Golem
  • Anvil Terrapin Medic

Each of these comes tuned with upgraded components and a striking base livery. To unlock them, you’ll need to complete favors for the NPC Wikelo in exchange for rewards. A new visual has been attached to the card.

ASD Light Combat Stealth Suit
Earnable by completing Onyx Facility missions, this specialized stealth suit is now on the roadmap. Card updated with a new visual.

Wikelo Light Combat Stealth Suit
Another addition to Wikelo’s Emporium: a special Light Combat Stealth Suit. Also shown off with a new visual.

Onyx Facilities
Formerly known as the “Abandoned Underground Facilities,” these massive, multi-level structures are being placed on every moon in Stanton. They’ll serve as the backbone for a new Sandbox Activity debuting in Alpha 4.3. The card has been renamed to reflect the new Onyx Facilities branding.

Cooperative Zones
This card has been removed. The content it represented is now better categorized: Onyx Facility missions are officially Sandbox Activities, not Cooperative Zones.

That’s the roundup for this week. Keep your eyes on the skies and the Roadmap — next update in two weeks.
