The Greycat Industrial Cydnus is a bug-shaped industrial mining vehicle. In an early preview it was called a 'mining drone', however the Cydnus can support 2 crewmembers and has a cockpit. Given its uncertain autonomy, it is likely to require crew but may be capable of limited automated operation.

- 2014-02-26: The Cydnus was first revealed on an episode of Studio Report: Squadron 42 Concepts & The Mining Colony.
- 2017-12-12: The vehicle appears again in the 2017 Squadron 42 Vertical Slice demo.
- 2024-10-20: It was seen again in a Squadron 42 live gameplay reveal, during the CitizenCon 2954 event.
