Damon Huerta was an explorer best known for his discovery of the Tyrol system.
Huerta was born and raised on Charon III, but lost his family and home during the Civil War. Unwilling to leave a system which had been his family's home for generations, yet refusing to return to a planet which had caused him so much suffering, he spent the majority of his time on the drift—picking up odd jobs in Charon and crashing at different stations when he could afford to. He was on the brink of being forced to sell his ship when he discovered the jump point to the Tyrol system.
