What to know
Tactical Strike Group (or Groups) is a high-organisation contract located in the Nyx system and offered by InterSec Defense Solutions for the rescue of a lost People's Alliance pilot from a QV Extraction station that was previously considered completely abandoned.
Tactical Strike Group (or Groups) is a high-organisation contract located in the Nyx system and offered by InterSec Defense Solutions for the rescue of a lost People's Alliance pilot from a QV Extraction station that was previously considered completely abandoned.
The operation is designed for a squadron of 7 or more ships of varying size and classes, and has specific requirements for energy weapons, ballistic weapons, and infantry deployment capability.
Sequence of events
Phase 1 - Approach and Defend Tranquility: In support of the mission and to serve as a forward refuelling, rearming and repairing platform for mission participants the People's Alliance have dispatched an Idris-class vessel, the Tranquility. Players are to escort the Tranquility into position and defend it.

Phase 2 - Destroy the power relays: Reaching the station, players will find that the Shattered Blade have installed heavy and heavily shielded anti-capital defenses of Vanduul origin in the course of turning the extraction station into a stronghold. As these primary defenses cannot be defeated directly, players must circumvent them by disabling or surviving small-target focused secondary defenses and gaining ship-scale internal access to the station's vulnerable interior by destroying exposed power relays, which are specifically hardened against energy weapons.

Phase 3 - Destroy cooling units: Following the destruction of the power relays, a gate/gates will resultantly open into large tunnels extending throughout the station. Players must traverse the tunnel while destroying cooling units that are hardened against ballistic weapons in short enough time that ambient distortion damage inside the tunnel will not disable their ship.

Phase 4 - Destroy the core and defend Tranquility: The destruction of cooling units will cause shutters protecting the station's central core to open. Within this chamber distortion and radiation output increase dramatically, endangering players who enter the chamber even briefly. In the brief time they have available, players must destroy the core that is powering the main defensive systems. Simultaneously, Shattered Blade forces will intensify their assault on the Tranquility outside the station. They must be prevented from succeeding in destroying the Tranquility.

Phase 5 - Infiltrate and override: With the core destroyed main defenses fail and a personally-accessible part of the station becomes exposed. Players must form a ground team and board this section of the station to engage the Shattered Blade directly in order to reach and activate an override terminal which will allow the captured People's Alliance pilot to escape.

Phase 6 - Escort Gabe to safety: Extract the pilot Gabe Windell and get him off the station to successfully complete the contract.

After completing these objectives, the greatest, closest enemy of the Shattered Blade will arrive to take indiscriminate vengeance for the actions of the outlaw gang. Uncaring of player affiliation, a Vanduul Mauler and its accompanying fighter escort will arrive to lay waste to all in the vicinity.
