Star Citizen Repair, Refuel and Restock Not Working? Start Here

Back at the station, but the service screen is still empty? Give the landing time to register before abandoning a perfectly recoverable stop.

You have made it back to a station with a battered ship and an almost empty tank, only to find that Landing Services has nothing to offer. In Alpha 4.10.2, that can be a recognised delay: the app may not register the landing immediately, and repair, refuel or restock options can take time to appear.

Already landed? Try this first

Allow several minutes after touchdown, let the hangar doors close where applicable, then close and reopen the Landing Services app in mobiGlas. This is the documented workaround for the delayed-service problem. It is not a guarantee that every missing-service error has the same cause.

Make sure you are in the right place

Vehicle services are available at most landing sites and many outposts. A clear patch of ground beside a building is not necessarily a service pad. At a controlled spaceport or station, request landing permission and follow the assigned marker to the correct hangar, pad or docking point.

ATC can be contacted through the ship’s communications display or mobiGlas; the default keyboard shortcut is Left Alt + N. Outposts without landing control are different: an available pad may be used without a clearance exchange. Watch for other ships and give them room.

Finish the landing before opening the service screen. Keep the ship settled and remain in the pilot seat while using Landing Services. If the app still behaves as though you are in flight, give it time to catch up before trying anything more disruptive.

Repair, restock and the two fuel types

  1. Open mobiGlas with F1 on the default keyboard layout and select Landing Services.
  2. Select the work you need: repair, ammunition restock, hydrogen refuelling or quantum refuelling.
  3. Confirm the selection and allow the service to complete.
  4. Check the ship before departing. Look at the relevant fuel and ammunition readouts rather than assuming everything was replenished because the menu opened.

Hydrogen and quantum fuel serve different systems. Topping up the fuel used for ordinary flight does not establish that you have enough quantum fuel for the next journey. Treat the two readouts separately when preparing to leave.

Choose the next step from the symptom

The service options are missing

If you have just arrived, use the delay workaround above. The current known-issues list describes both options failing to appear and the app failing to recognise a completed landing. Repeatedly opening it during the first few seconds is unlikely to tell you much; allow the stated wait first.

You are not sure the landing was accepted

Check the assigned marker and the landing confirmation. A nearby hangar or a pad occupied by someone else is not a substitute for your assigned space. Correct an obvious positioning or clearance problem before treating it as a broken service menu.

The menu works, but the requested service does not

That is a different symptom from an app that has not yet noticed the landing. Check what you selected and what actually changed aboard the ship. Do not assume that a workaround for an empty menu will also repair a failed transaction or a missing component.

Waiting and reopening the app changes nothing

At that point, the published workaround has not resolved your case. An Issue Council report is the appropriate route for an in-game bug. Include the location, ship, build and service that failed, ideally with a screenshot of the problem. There is no need to turn the rest of your session into a long troubleshooting exercise.

Keep any cargo or equipment you care about in mind before abandoning the ship or resorting to a claim. Those actions are not part of the documented delay workaround. Nor is reclaiming the ship from your account a sensible response to a service screen that has stopped updating.

Before the next departure

A short stop is a good time to check that the next leg is actually possible: both fuel types, the ammunition you intend to use and any damage you were relying on the service to repair. It is considerably easier to notice an incomplete refill while still parked than after setting off for another moon.

For longer operations, a support ship can be part of the group’s plan. Our refuelling collection covers that role, while the Ship Matrix helps compare ships across different jobs. A different ship is not a fix for the Landing Services bug; this guide’s immediate answer is to establish a valid landing, allow the delay, and reopen the app.

Checked 9 October 2026 against RSI Vehicle Maintenance Services, How to Land Your Ship, Where Do I Report Game Bugs, and the Alpha 4.10.2 Known Issues entries for missing repair/refuel/restock options and the Landing Services app not updating. Default keyboard bindings can be remapped. Workarounds and menu presentation may change.
