Roadmap Roundup – January 14, 2026

A breakdown of the latest Star Citizen development updates, including LAMP canopy tech, new missions, Kel-To kiosks, and FPS weapon art refreshes.

Roadmap Roundup – January 14, 2026

This week’s Roadmap Roundup brings a fresh batch of features moving through development as Star Citizen continues its march toward 1.0. As always, these updates highlight what’s shifting on the Release View and give you a clearer picture of what’s being worked on behind the scenes.

CIG’s reminder stands: anything planned for the 1.0 column may arrive earlier in a point patch once it reaches a release-ready state. For now, here’s what’s new and notable in this iteration.

Notable Changes: January 14, 2026

Release View – 4.6.0

Cockpit Light Amplification (LAMP)

A new light‑amplifying canopy treatment is on the way for a select group of vehicles. Once active, it helps you maintain situational awareness and navigate more safely in low‑light environments, with more ships slated for support later.

Clearing the Air

A system‑wide crisis centered on Levski and the Molina Mold outbreak is taking shape. This mission set pushes you across Nyx and Stanton with Hauling, Courier, Resource Gathering, Kill Ship, Recover Cargo, Station Escort, and Defend Ship objectives tied to the event.

New Resource Gathering Missions

The Resource Gathering archetype is expanding with additional mission variety. You’ll be hunting down, collecting, and delivering raw or refined mineables—or salvaged ship components—on behalf of different corporate clients.

Kel-To Ship Supply Kiosks

Kel‑To is rolling out compact ship‑supply kiosks across Stanton’s major cities. They’re intended to give crews quicker access to key engineering tools and essential provisions without needing a full outfitting stop.

FPS Weapons Art Refactor

A visual update pass is underway for several FPS weapons and devices, including the Behring P4‑AR, FS‑9, and P6‑LR; the Greycat MaxLift Tractor Beam and Cambio SRT; the CureLife ParaMed device; and the Ripper SMG. Expect refreshed textures and materials across the board.
