This Week in Star Citizen: September 14, 2026

This Week in Star Citizen - September 14, 2026

CIG is targeting Alpha 4.10.1 for release this week, bringing technical fixes and Orison Relief Support. Pirate Week clues and Bar Citizen Milan also headline the official schedule.

The week opens with pirates still flying their colours across the ’verse. According to the official September 14 update, Pirate Week returned last week, a Pirate Week 2026 doubloon is waiting behind a clue hunt, and CIG is targeting Alpha 4.10.1 for release later this week.

The Impound’s read is straightforward: this is a compact but useful weekly brief, with Alpha 4.10.1 bringing another technical pass, Orison Relief Support moving towards Live, and a Milan Bar Citizen anchoring the weekend’s community calendar.

Pirate Week, a doubloon and a clue trail

CIG says Pirate Week returned last week, putting the lawless side of the ’verse back in the spotlight. Alongside the event, the official update says a golden Pirate Week 2026 doubloon can be claimed by those clever enough to crack the code.

The report tells players to watch Spectrum, newsletters and social channels while the Pirate Week flag flies, as the clues need to be pieced together to uncover the hidden treasure.

The ongoing Most Wanted contest is also still open. CIG says players can take an in-game screenshot of their character and fill in a poster with a bounty worthy of their reputation.

Treasure hunt clue: BYPASSING TWISC...... FUNCTION RETRIEVE (TREASURE HUNT CLUE)...... ACCESS GRANTED...... INJECTING...... avast! set course for pyro! Amidst the roughest Rigs In Dust-choked orbit, there be one that offers no Rest from the Edge. Aye, Cold and unforgiving it be. Hunt it down, and when ye find it, count every piece within the hologram; not the shell, but what lies inside.

Roadmap notes for Alpha 4.10.1 and Alpha 4.11

The official update also points to a new Roadmap Update, which added the new event Orison Relief Support to Alpha 4.10.1.

Looking further ahead to Alpha 4.11, CIG says it shared a fresh glimpse of Nyx III's atmosphere, alongside a first look at Lightning Bolt Company's DMR, the Skarnov.

Alpha 4.10.1 is targeted for this week

Later this week, CIG says it is targeting the release of Alpha 4.10.1. The update is set to bring another round of technical and bug fixes, including fixes to ASOP terminals and ship statuses, a fix for Mendo Ren's HMG spawn issues, and more.

The update will also introduce the Orison Relief Support event. According to the official post, players will help rebuild Orison through missions spanning resource gathering, crafting, hauling and combat.

CIG says that following PTU feedback, it has significantly reduced the requirements needed to complete the event. The event’s blueprints have also been removed from the reward track and will instead be granted directly to player accounts.

The report states that CIG will keep working on Alpha 4.10.1 in the PTU ahead of its Live release, while work continues on Alpha 4.11.
