SAC Lindy passed along your contact. I’m heading to Corel system, Lo specifically, to pick up a CI of mine named Terrence Wiley, also goes by FourBit. He’s a black marketeer who moves a variety of low spec contraband with the occasional foray into explosives.

Is there a local SA I could contact directly to get a lay of the land?

I’m going to assume that the black marketeer who “forays into explosives” is invaluable as an asset to justify why he’s not pulling a stretch on QuarterDeck.

The incident on Lo was an unfortunate turn of events. Attempts to contact local criminal elements for intel coincided with a growing turf war. It was bad luck that a hit went down while we were in the middle of a meet.

As for the bigger picture, here’s what I’ve got.

Aside from moving trash contraband to trash people, my CI, FourBit, moonlights as a revolutionary activist, conspiracy theorist, etc. Though he finds cooperating with the Empire he’s trying to uproot distasteful, doing business with me means better business for him, so Credits win out over ideology.

He’s been attending meetings of like-minded ‘revolutionaries’ for a monthly griping session. One of the newer speakers, a man named Clemen Acord, has spent the past few meetings preaching for system independence, with each speech he advocates a more aggressive agenda to raise awareness for their cause.

FourBit believes that Acord and the small faction of followers he’s accruing are planning something. Being a staunch pacifist, he said he was going to infiltrate this splinter group to find out more and would update me. That was over four weeks ago and nothing.

Earlier today, I found FourBit stuffed in a cargo container in an abandoned shipyard, stippling indicated he was executed at close range. I’ve arranged for the body to be examined at local facilities and will update as I learn more.

Needless to say, I’m doing all I can to track down Acord and known KAs.

I’ve put together a full profile on Acord: a few arrests in a variety of demonstrations and protests, typically non-violent stuff. Agents have tapped F&F; they say he’s become increasingly disconnected and paranoid over the past few years.
