ORG People & Factions Wiki Article

Hit the Nail on the Space Whale (Spectrum ID SPACEWHLE) is a casual player organization operating out of the Stanton system. Founded in 2954 by 01Drop, the organization brings together pilots for cooperative play across multiple gameplay loops such as hauling, mining, salvage, PvE and PvP. The organization focuses on a casual style rather than hardcore commitment.

The organization's motto is Caelos Regimus - "We Rule the Skies."

The organisation's ship prefix is SWS (SPACEWHLE Ship)

Recruitment

SPACEWHLE delivers a semi-serious experience to the Star Citizen player and promise humour, strategy and complete chaos. Whenever they aren’t in an event, the community serves as a tight-knit and dynamic crew to find a group for money-making, loot goblin-ing, or any other gameloop members fancy!

Prospective members can join through the organization's Discord server or via the official website. New recruits are introduced by senior members where they learn the organization's structure, divisions, and play styles.

Divisions

SPACEWHLE is organised into specialised divisions so members can focus on the playstyles they enjoy.

Operations Division

Operations Division is the branch of SPACEWHLE which handles orders from clients for anything from weapons, to components, to services such as extraction. Members of Op Div can be as active or not as they choose and get assigned to incoming orders. Pay is split equally between contributing operators.

Logistics Division

Logistics Division acquires gear and weaponry for the rest of the organisation. It is voluntary and they handle troop and ship transport as well. When an order is placed for gear, it is up to Logistics Division to fulfill it. This can range from acquiring armour or other loot to providing ships for other org members, or even bringing necessary gear to events and operations (such as ground vehicles and mission-specific exploration suits).

Medical Division

Medical Division is the branch of SPACEWHLE that focuses on keeping their ground troops and pilots alive and in the fight. Medical Division ensures that they have enough medpens, drinks, refills, and other items to keep SPACEWHLE's troops alive and well. They operate as standard combat/mining members in events and operations but have the added responsibility of rescuing and reviving downed or injured members.

While they can participate in standard activities, medics must be on standby for injuries and quick response times. They have slightly altered armour to your standard SPACEWHLE.

The Academy

The Academy is the branch of SPACEWHLE that handles the training of members to improve their PvP and PvE efficiency in combat. One does not have to be Academy Staff to take part in training. By joining the Academy, one becomes an official SPACEWHLE staff member. SPACEWHLE is looking for active and experienced members who are capable of running training sessions both on foot and in ships. Some level of commitment is expected.

Rank structure

The SPACEWHLE organization adopts a top-down rank structure which is run by the Field Marshal (FM), General (Gen), and Lieutenant General (Lt Gen). Brigadiers (Brig) are admins and should be contacted in the instance an incident occurs. Colonels (Col) are moderators and ensure that the organization remains a safe and enjoyable space.

Other than the admin and moderation roles, the ranks grant certain benefits and rewards upon promotion and the system is a fun, interactive way to compare your activity and get rewarded for it.
