He taught various courses at the Maryland Institute College of Art, including Fantasy Art, Character Design, Advanced Character Design, Concept Art and Advanced Concept Art, he taught entertainment design/visual development at the Syracuse University as Adjunct Faculty Professor, and was Professor of Illustration and Visual Development at the Ringling College of Art and Design.
Early Life
His first drawing was on the underside of the table with a box of crayons aged three. In elementary school he was drawing his own comic book characters. He always had a stack of paper or a sketchbook wherever he went. He played a lot of Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer with his friends, they used to make up their own video games and draw them out on graph paper.
He studied illustration but realized his passion was concept art.
