Humanity encountered a spacefaring Tevarin civilization beginning to expand beyond its own worlds.
After the wars, the Tevarin homeworld was terraformed, colonized by Humans, and renamed Elysium IV.
Before 2610, Tevarin society was governed by a military order led by Warlords.

When the UPE first encountered the Tevarin in 2541, it found a spacefaring civilization with ambition, discipline, and a deep martial tradition. The Tevarin were not as technologically advanced as Humanity, but they were patient, strategic, and difficult to break.
Their war against Humanity began as a fight for resources and lasted more than four years. The Battle of Idris IV became the turning point, making Ivar Messer a hero to the UPE and pushing the Tevarin toward defeat.
After the war, the loss went far beyond territory. Tevarin systems were opened to Human colonization. Survivors were absorbed into the UPE or scattered into Banu and Xi'an space. Kaleeth, their homeworld, was remade as Elysium IV, a Human world built over the center of Tevarin memory.
The UPE makes contact with the Tevarin, a proud martial civilization beginning its own expansion into space.
The Tevarin fight with endurance and skill, but defeat leaves their systems under UPE control and opens them to Human settlement.
Corath'Thal, new Tevarin Warlord, returns from exile with a rebuilt fleet and tries to reclaim Elysium IV, the former Tevarin homeworld.
After defeat at the Battle of Centauri, Corath'Thal and his remaining loyal pilots make a final charge toward their old homeworld and burn into its atmosphere.
Rijora was more than a religion. It was a code of honor, loyalty, and duty that gave Tevarin life its shape. Combat could raise a person’s status, but farmers, builders, and workers also served the collective and had a place in society.
After the first defeat, Rijora began to fade. Corath'Thal’s second war was an attempt to recover more than land. It was a fight to restore dignity, faith, and the old center of Tevarin life.
That hope ended in 2610. When the last believers hurled themselves toward Kaleeth and burned in the atmosphere, many surviving Tevarin abandoned Rijora during the period remembered as the Purge. A people who had once defined themselves through duty were left to rebuild without the nation, world, and faith that had held them together.
The Tevarin Sovereignty was a military government where the title of Warlord carried both political power and battlefield authority.
A large Tevarin diaspora has settled in the unclaimed Branaugh system, where many live outside the clean story of UEE assimilation.
Even centuries later, some Tevarin face prejudice, voter intimidation, and hate groups, while advocates work to protect their rights.
There is no Tevarin government left to speak for the species. Most Tevarin now live inside the UEE or in scattered communities beyond its reach. A few have earned Citizenship, but for many, Human politics feels distant, complicated, and built for someone else.
Some Tevarin serve in UEE penal units. Some work through advocacy groups such as Stronger Together to pursue legal protection and Citizenship. Others flee toward communities like Branaugh II, sometimes with the help of groups such as the Ashen Haunt. Across all of these paths, the same question follows them: how does a civilization survive when its homeworld, government, and faith have all been taken or transformed?
Tevarin ships such as the Prowler and Talon carry the design language of a martial culture that valued precision, discipline, and purpose. They are not just machines; they are echoes of a people still remembered through the technology they left behind.
