What to know
The Mirai Fury is a compact snub fighter built for carrier-launched swarm attacks. Four Size 2 guns, four Size 2 missiles, and extreme agility give one pilot serious close-range firepower in a craft small enough to deploy in numbers.
Fury specifications
A tiny fighter designed to arrive as a group
The Fury trades independent travel and heavy protection for a very small footprint and sharp maneuverability. It relies on a carrier to reach the operation, then uses numbers, movement, and concentrated fire to overwhelm a larger target's attention.

Carrier dependent by design
Without a quantum drive, the Fury is not a self-contained patrol fighter. Its value comes from fitting aboard another ship, launching quickly, and adding another fast-moving weapon platform to the attack.

Development note: The Fury is flight ready and entered the live game in Alpha 3.19.0. Because Star Citizen remains in active development, specifications, features, and imagery may change over time.
Fury's combat systems
The Fury combines the guns and missiles with a very small hangar footprint. A carrier can launch several together and concentrate them on the same threat.
The Fury was designed to deliver as much damage in the shortest amount of time possible. It's fast, maneuverable but lacks a quantum drive, it would be double the size if it did.
The four main thrusters are fully gimballed; they can rotate in all directions. They double as the ship's retro thrusters.
The cockpit puts flight, targeting, weapons, and damage information in front of the pilot.
Heavy sensor, shield, and weapon use can strain the power system, so the crew must watch heat and output.
Fighting equipment aboard the Fury
The Fury carries capable firepower thanks to four size 2 weapon hardpoints and its racks that can hold four size 2 missiles.

Direct fire backed by the Fury's missile load
The Fury turns limited hangar room into a larger defensive or attack group without asking for full-size fighter bays.
A coordinated group lets the guns and missiles arrive from several directions instead of leaving one snub to fight alone.
The Fury depends on its carrier for endurance, so recovery timing remains part of every sortie.
Airframe and weapons working together
A complete sortie in the Fury connects target choice, movement, the guns and missiles, and an honest check of the ship before the next engagement.

-
Set the loadout before leaving the carrier
For the Fury, a compact fighter has little room to solve the wrong equipment choice after launch.
-
Clear the bay without slowing the next craft
For the Fury, fast separation lets the carrier put several fighters into open space without creating a queue at the doors.
-
Combine the Fury's weapons
The pilot keeps the guns and missiles aimed without holding the Fury on an easy line for return fire.
-
Return before low fuel or damage makes recovery difficult
On the Fury, the carrier is part of the weapon system, providing the range, repair, and rearm support the small craft does not carry itself.
Fury's combat equipment in detail
The Fury combines its guns and missiles with the handling, protection, and targeting systems needed for its combat role.
The Fury's 0.45-SCU storage compartment sits beneath the port-side avionics bay and keeps personal gear out of the cockpit.
Aboard the Fury, responsive handling helps the pilot keep the missile load on target through tight turns.
Aboard the Fury, sensors and weapon controls help the pilot identify a suitable target and keep the missile load aimed at it.
The Fury's defensive package is sized around the fighter role its weapons are meant to perform.
The Fury trades onboard endurance for a smaller combat footprint
The pilot relies on the carrier for range and turnaround, then uses the guns and missiles as part of a coordinated launch.
The Fury's combat role begins and ends on the carrier
Each Fury sortie has one clear objective. The carrier supplies the fuel, ammunition, and maintenance that the small fighter cannot keep aboard for a longer independent patrol.
A very small footprint and sharp handling make the Fury strongest when a carrier launches several together.
The pilot keeps the Fury moving while its weapons remain on target.
The Fury's carrier completes the system by refuelling, rearming, and repairing the small fighter for another sortie.
