This Week in Star Citizen: April 6, 2026 Schedule, Hull B, Free Fly

Another week is lining up in the 'verse, and this one has cargo haulers, a maintenance window, roadmap watching, and a Free Fly aimed squarely at anyone curious about the working end of the freight business. CIG also used the opening to look back at last week’s Triggerfish reveal, point readers toward the latest Behind the Ships episode, highlight the March 2026 PU Monthly Report, and thank players who took part in the latest Evocati Tech Preview for the Transport System.

The main event this week is clearly Captains of Industry, arriving Wednesday alongside the long-awaited MISC Hull B. There’s also a Behind The Ships feature and a Hull B Q&A on the way to get you properly acquainted before you start moving freight like it actually matters. Which, in this economy, it probably does.

What’s moving through the lanes this week

Tuesday brings the April Subscriber Comm-Link and April Subscriber Newsletter.

Wednesday is the busy one. Captains of Industry begins, the MISC Hull B takes the spotlight, a new Behind The Ships episode lands, the MISC Hull B Q&A goes live, and both the Roadmap Update and Roadmap Roundup arrive later in the day.

CIG also announced scheduled maintenance for the live servers on Wednesday at 11:00 UTC, with up to 6 hours of downtime. Players are asked to log out of the game and fully close the launcher before maintenance begins, then reopen the launcher fresh once services return. Progress updates will be posted via the RSI Status Tracker.

Also on Wednesday, CIG is launching a month-long PC giveaway with CLX Gaming. Visitors to the Star Citizen booth at LVL UP EXPO in Las Vegas from April 24 through 26 can earn bonus entries just by stopping by, with additional entries available for those who arrive in cosplay.

Thursday starts the Captains of Industry Free Fly. Running April 9 to 20, it will let players try some of the specialist cargo ships on offer. The event is open to anyone with a Star Citizen account, so it is very much one of those weeks where your would-be crewmates may suddenly rediscover their inboxes.

Friday wraps things up with the usual RSI Weekly Newsletter.
