Alpha 4.10.1 is live, Orison Relief Support continues until October 7, Alpha 4.10.2 heads to Evocati soon, and Bar Citizen Porto lands September 26.
Happy Monday, pilots. This week in Star Citizen opens with Alpha 4.10.1 now live, Orison Relief Support underway, Pirate Week 2026 still making trouble, and the next round of testing already lining up in the hangar. Busy skies, in other words — the usual controlled chaos with slightly better branding.
Alpha 4.10.1 arrived on Live servers last week, bringing Orison Relief Support alongside the new Aegis Sabre Raven EX. From now until October 7, you can help rebuild Orison from the ashes across combat, salvage, crafting, and supply-hauling missions, with a full set of "SecondWind" gear waiting for those who see the effort through.
CIG also thanked everyone who tested during the PTU phase and helped get Alpha 4.10.1 out the door, with an extra nod to pilots who joined the Time-to-Kill Balance Test Tech-Preview. That feedback continues to shape combat feel across the 'verse. Alpha 4.10.2 is set to begin Evocati PTU testing shortly, with wider waves to follow, and CIG is again pointing bug reports and feedback toward the Issue Council and dedicated Spectrum feedback threads.
Pirate Week 2026 is still running, with time remaining to enter the Most Wanted contest and make the 'verse remember your name for all the wrong reasons. The hunt for the "doubloon" is also drawing to a close, with CIG saying the final clue is hidden in the transmission for sharp-eyed treasure hunters.
Following the earlier announcement about changes to pledge gifting and game access, CIG has published an FAQ explaining how the new Game Library system will work when it takes effect on October 1, 2026. You will also be able to select your preferred pledge for the new system during a window running through November 1.
CIG also thanked everyone who attended Bar Citizen Milan, calling out the laughs, quizzes, giveaways, conversations, and shared Star Citizen enthusiasm from the evening. TileMiaRut received a special shoutout for organizing the event and making the team feel at home.
On the Radar This Week
Today, CIG is introducing 10 From the Community, a new show debuting on October 5. It will be short, focused, and built around player questions, with each episode covering a different area of Star Citizen development. CIG is directing players to the announcement to submit questions for the first episode and vote for the ones they most want answered.
CIG is also taking a wider look at its show lineup and the kinds of content it produces. A survey is planned soon to gather feedback on what players would like to see, whether that means the return of an old favorite or an entirely new format.
Wednesday would normally bring the latest Roadmap Update and Roadmap Roundup, but with Alpha 4.11 development on track and no notable changes to report this week, CIG has decided to hold off and revisit the Roadmap Update in two weeks.

On Saturday, September 26, the Bar Citizen World Tour heads to Porto, Portugal. The stop will take place at MXM ArtCenter from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM UTC, bringing Citizens and members of the development team together for the evening.
Also on Saturday, the Fight or Flight 2956 3v3 dogfighting tournament reaches its finals, with the best squads in the 'verse going head-to-head for the championship.
This week’s sign-off also introduces Steve, known on Spectrum as Stamp-CIG. Some players may recognize him from running Spectrum contests or meeting him at past Bar Citizen events. After working mostly behind the scenes supporting the team, he is now taking on TWISC on a rotating basis as well.
