Drake DefenseCon

Drake DefenseCon is an event organized by Drake Interplanetary to promote themselves as a tagalong of the Invictus Launch Week.

The event was launched in 2950 by Drake after repeatedly not being invited to the Invictus conventions. It is advertised as a tool to showcase the contribution and solutions in defense of Drake Interplanetary to militias and security organizations.

While in 2955 DefenseCon was not held as Drake Interplanetary was instead given the chance to participate in Invictus Launch Week for the first time, in 2956 and for reasons still not known the UEE only held the Invictus event in Sol system enabling Drake's CEO Anden Arden to reinstate the DefenseCon far larger than before and including many other manufacturers who normally participated in Invictus instead.

• 2950 Drake DefenseCon, held at Riker Memorial Spaceport, ArcCorp from May 30 to June 1, 2950.
• 2951 Drake DefenseCon, held at New Babbage Interstellar Spaceport from May 29 to May 30, 2951.
• 2952 Drake DefenseCon, held at August Dunlow Spaceport, Orison, Crusader from May 28 till 29, 2952.
• 2953 Drake DefenseCon, held at Riker Memorial Spaceport, ArcCorp from May 27 till 28, 2953
• 2954 Drake DefenseCon, held at Riker Memorial Spaceport, ArcCorp from May 25 to May 26, 2954.
• Drake DefenseCon, usually held after the final day of Invictus, has been cancelled for 2955 as Drake Interplanetary has been -for the first time ever- invited into Invictus Launch Week 2955.
• 2956 Drake DefenseCon, held at Bevic Convention Center from May 14 till 27, 2956. For the first time, and due to the cancellation of Invictus Launch Week 2956 celebrations outside the Sol System, Drake DefenseCon was held on its own and included several other manufacturers.
