Nyx III is the final planet in the Nyx System, located far from the sun's light, is an ice giant. A massive ball of frozen water and ammonia vapor, Nyx III has only seen minimal resource extraction owing to the hazardous work conditions in the planet’s dangerous atmosphere.
Its stormy atmosphere is composed mainly of ammonia and water vapor, and an ocean of supercritical water surrounds the planet's rocky core. High, dangerous winds prevent miners from extracting resources.
Development
- Earlier descriptions of Nyx III described the planet as having a surface where ships could land, but EVA is impossible. This was later removed from the Galactic Guide The nature of an Ice Giant is better reflected in the Galactapedia description of Nyx III.
