What is the referral bonus?

The IAE 2955 referral bonus rewards you for introducing a new player to Star Citizen. When your recruit uses your referral code and pledges for a starter pack or ship valued at $40 or more, you earn a Star Kitten Edition Drake Dragonfly with a 10-year insurance policy. The new player receives a Star Kitten Racing Gear Pack.

On top of the special IAE bonus, the usual referral rewards still apply, including 50,000 aUEC and a point toward the regular Referral Program. The promotion runs until December 5, 2025, at 20:00 UTC.

How do I refer a friend?

Your recruit must add your unique referral code when creating their account. It cannot be added afterward, so make sure they include it during signup.

Where do I find my personal referral code?

You can locate your unique code on the Referral Program Page. You’re free to share it anywhere you like, whether that’s social media, email, or your own website.

What’s in it for me?

Referring a single player during the promotion earns you the Star Kitten Edition Drake Dragonfly. This snub ship features dual‑mode operation for ground or space and includes a rear-facing second seat. Your reward also comes with a 10-year insurance policy.

Can I earn more than one Star Kitten Edition Drake Dragonfly?

No. Each player can earn only one Dragonfly from this promotion.

What is the regular Referral Program?

When do I receive my referral bonus?

You receive your Dragonfly as soon as your recruit completes a qualifying $40 pledge. The recruit’s racing gear is granted after the promotion ends on December 5. Rewards may be delivered in waves, so slight delays are normal.

Are there any limitations to the referral bonus?

Yes. The Star Kitten Edition Drake Dragonfly awarded through this promotion cannot be melted or gifted. It includes a 10-year insurance policy.

Do the standard Referral Program and the limited IAE 2955 Referral Bonus work together?

Yes. Any referral made during the promotion also counts toward your progress in the regular Referral Program.
