ILW 2955 Quick Guide

Invictus Launch Week 2955 is here running May 15–27 on ArcCorp’s Bevic Convention Center in Area 18 and it’s shaping up to be one of the best yet. Whether you’re new to the ‘verse or a seasoned veteran, here’s what you can look forward to.

What Is Invictus Launch Week?

Think of ILW as the UEE Navy’s annual open house. It’s a chance for players to explore the Stanton system for free, get hands-on time with a rotating roster of ships, and check out exclusive demos and tours—all without spending a cent on a game package.

What You Can Do

• Free-Fly Access
  From May 15 to 27, any account can pick up a loaner ship and fly around Stanton. Perfect if you’ve ever wondered how a Hornet flies or want to try the latest commuter craft.

• Daily Manufacturer Showcases
  At 16:00 UTC each day, a new lineup of ship makers takes over the show floor. You’ll be able to inspect, rent (48-hour loan), and test-fly their latest models.

• Swag & Concept Ship Drops
  Keep an eye on the Pledge Store for limited runs of concept ships and commemorative gear. They appear in three brief “waves,” so set your reminders if there’s something you want.

• Community Contests
  Jump into the official Spectrum challenges—screenshot comps, race trials, and more—to compete for themed rewards and show off your best in-game moments.
  
  
  
  

Spotlight Feature: Aegis Idris Tour

This year’s headline attraction is a guided walkthrough of an active-service Idris-P capital ship, docked atop IO-North Tower. You’ll see the command bridge, flight deck, engineering bays, and more. Tours run throughout the event but fill up fast, so check the schedule early.

A Quick History

Invictus Launch Week began as a simple showcase of the UEE Navy’s newest vessels and has grown into a major community celebration over the past decade:

1. Early Days: A handful of ship demos and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

2. Mid-2940s: Manufacturers like Anvil and Crusader joined in, and concept sales became a highlight.

3. 2955: For the first time, Drake Interplanetary shares the floor with the UEEN—plus, the usual fleet flyby is postponed, so on-ground displays get extra emphasis.
