C2 Hercules at work

Heavy lift, refined
The C2 Hercules combines a vast drive-through hold with Crusader's clean aerospace design, giving two operators an elegant way to move bulk freight, racing teams, and the largest ground vehicles.
Civilian heavy lifter
The C2 makes heavy transport feel straightforward. A vast drive-through deck accepts bulk freight and oversized vehicles, while a separate upper crew level and compact flight crew keep a very large payload from demanding an equally large ship organization.

The C2 Hercules is flight ready and entered the live game in Alpha 3.13.1. Because Star Citizen remains in active development, specifications, features, and imagery may change over time.
Mission systems
The C2 combines capacity, clear access, crew comfort, and credible defense so the difficult part of a heavy-lift contract remains the payload, not the ship around it.

A broad internal cargo grid accommodates major freight contracts as well as large vehicles such as the Nova, Ballista, and Spartan.

Large ramps at both ends streamline vehicle movement and reduce the maneuvering needed in crowded loading areas.

Beds, personal storage, facilities, and a separate rest area make the C2 comfortable enough for long commercial routes.

Pilot-controlled Size 5 hardpoints and a rear remote turret let the C2 answer threats without compromising its civilian mission.
The civilian C2 retains the structural scale and confidence of the Hercules family while prioritizing commercial carrying volume.
One or two flight crew can move an outsized load, leaving drivers and cargo handlers to join only when the mission requires them.
Drive-through heavy lift
The C2 has one long cargo floor between two large ramps. Vehicles can drive straight through, freight can be arranged in delivery order, and the crew can unload from whichever end works best.

It works for crews that value direct loading and the ability to carry equipment too large for ordinary freight decks.
The ship can fly with few people, but loading and unloading are faster when drivers and cargo handlers are ready at both ends of the route.
The C2's capacity is only useful when the destination offers enough room to land, open the ramps, and move the payload safely.
Heavy transport
The C2 earns its reputation through a simple idea executed at large scale: open the front and rear of the ship, organize the hold around the delivery order, fly the payload where it is needed, and drive it straight back out.

Vehicles and freight are arranged around weight, access, and unloading order before the ramps close.
The long cargo deck accepts large vehicles without forcing them through lifts or narrow side access.
Flight and living spaces remain on the upper deck, away from vehicles and cargo moving through the hold.
At the destination, ground assets can leave through the most practical ramp instead of reversing the entire loading process.
Heavy-lift interior
The C2's defining feature is not only capacity but access: an uninterrupted vehicle and freight deck connects the forward and rear ramps beneath a separate crew level.

The broad cargo floor carries large ground vehicles and major freight loads without forcing them through a side door or lift.

The lower-deck plan shows the long loading route and the working space available between both ramps.
The upper-deck plan places habitation and flight operations away from the traffic moving through the cargo bay.

The Hercules is shaped to carry large vehicles and specialized equipment as naturally as conventional freight.
Crew and logistics
Crew roles, workload, and support needs shape how this civilian heavy lifter performs after departure.
The C2 keeps ship operation approachable, but the payload may bring its own drivers, cargo handlers, and ground team. The total mission is larger than the cockpit roster.
