Make your credits giftable without wasting fresh money. There is no spending cap unless you enter one. The recommendation skips extra spending that costs as much as or more than the additional credit it converts.

Review your hangar
Keep anything you want to preserve. Ship upgrade values come only from the supplied price catalog, never from hangar values. Ships missing from that catalog are left out of upgrades until the store owner updates the price list.
Some data needs review. Plans exclude conflicting pledges and ships with unknown upgrade values; they may not cover your full account.

When gifting: enable MFA, allow 30 days after your first account pledge, and stay within RSI’s $1,000 rolling 24-hour gifting limit. Newly purchased pledges have a 24-hour reclaim cooldown. The plan keeps each upgraded giftable pledge at or below $1,000 in melt value.

What the calculator protects
Referral, giveaway, promotional and known account rewards are preserved, even if a paid upgrade gives them a displayed value. Original Sabre Raven / Intel and AMD Never Settle / Mustang Omega pledges are protected. A ship’s current name never overrides its original package restrictions.
Legacy Admiral and collector packages, recognized physical contents, and ambiguous original Freelancer / Colonel packages are preserved. Digital Freelancer ships are not automatically classified as physical. Current RSI buyback restrictions also protect detected Squadron 42 packages and the listed non-restorable categories.
CSV exports can omit package contents. Check all protected and unrecognized items in your hangar. In-game shirts and hats alone do not imply physical merchandise. The calculator cannot verify a pledge’s live restrictions.
How the calculation works
Eligible ungiftable pledges supply melt credit. Existing giftable ships can be upgraded, preserved, or recycled if that improves the result. Giftable paints, equipment and unapplied CCUs can be melted when the overall conversion improves. Recycled giftable value is deducted from the headline conversion amount.
Upgrade cost equals target upgrade value minus the current ship’s upgrade value. Paid CCUs preserve an eligible base pledge’s gifting status. The calculator searches exact combinations of the enabled targets, selected store token and confirmed buybacks, respecting a cash limit only when one is entered. The recommendation maximizes newly giftable credit minus fresh cash spent, including tax, and chooses the cheaper plan in a tie. This avoids spending $20 just to convert another $10. Higher-coverage plans remain available as alternatives.
Prices use USD cents. Tax applies only to new cash. Owned CCUs are considered as melt sources or preserved items; discounted CCU-chain application and speculative future sales are outside this calculation. No purchase, exchange or gift is performed by this page.
