The Origin M80 wraps interceptor-style performance, four heavy guns, and a twenty-missile loadout in a single-seat fighter with the clean exterior and refined cabin expected from Origin.
Combat Spacecraft
The M80 is a combat ship first. Two concealed Size 5 guns provide its hardest direct hit, two Size 4 repeaters add sustained fire, and two separate missile groups let the pilot choose between a heavier opening strike and more shots against quick targets.
Behind the weapon package is a carefully finished single-seat interior with a bed, personal storage, weapon racks, and direct access to important components. It is built for a pilot who wants serious combat performance without giving up Origin's attention to design.
The M80 is flight ready and entered the live game in Alpha 4.8.0. Because Star Citizen remains in active development, specifications, features, and imagery may change over time.
Combat package
The M80 combines two concealed Size 5 guns and two Size 4 guns with four Size 3 Thunderbolts and sixteen Size 1 Pioneers. Every weapon remains under one pilot's control, while interceptor-rated tuning helps put that firepower in the right place.
Two hardware-locked Size 5 CF-557 Galdereen repeaters retract behind the hull, giving the M80 heavy direct fire without leaving its largest weapons permanently exposed.
Two Size 4 CF-447 Rhino repeaters supplement the main guns, giving the pilot four heavy weapons for sustained attacks.
Two interchangeable Size 4 racks carry four Size 3 Thunderbolt missiles, while two fixed Size 4 racks carry sixteen Size 1 Pioneer missiles.
Origin tuned the M80 to carry heavy-fighter firepower with enough speed and response to bring all four guns onto a target and quickly prepare for another pass.
Dedicated racks hold two rifles or long tools and three pistols or medguns, keeping personal equipment secure and within reach.
Lighting, finish, and careful packaging make the compact interior feel like an Origin space rather than a bare military cockpit.

Choose the missile, open the guns, assess the load
The M80 gives one pilot two distinct missile groups and four heavy guns. The useful decision is which weapon should start the engagement, then how much of the remaining load is worth spending on the same target.
Use the four Size 3 missiles for a harder opening hit or the sixteen Size 1 missiles when more individual shots are useful.
The mixed racks let the pilot pressure a larger ship without wasting every guided weapon on it, or answer several smaller targets with the lighter missiles.
Use the two Size 5 repeaters for the heaviest gun damage and keep the two Size 4 repeaters working while the target remains in front of the fighter.
Missile count, shield condition, damage, and nearby contacts should decide whether the next action is another gun pass or a return for service.
Tactical details
The M80 is not only a list of hardpoints. Concealed weapons preserve its exterior form, internal component access supports repairs, and a bed and practical storage make the cockpit area useful between fights.
Flying, targeting, guns, missiles, shields, and damage awareness all remain under one pilot's control.
Important working components are accessible from inside the ship, allowing the pilot to inspect and repair key systems without stepping outside after every engagement.
An external cargo position accepts one 2 SCU container, giving the M80 a small but useful way to carry equipment or supplies.
A bed, nearby shelves, and a personal locker give the pilot a practical place to rest and keep equipment aboard between missions.
