Roadmap Roundup July 29 2026: Alpha 4.10 Updates
CIG’s July 29, 2026 Roadmap Roundup commits several Alpha 4.10 cards, including Instancing, Siege of Orison, new weapons, armor, and ship offerings.
CIG’s latest Roadmap Roundup for July 29, 2026 gives you the current state of the Release View and where Alpha 4.10 stands as it moves through testing. As usual, the Roadmap update is paired with a short explanation of what changed and why, with the goal of keeping development communications more transparent, specific, and useful for backers following Star Citizen and Squadron 42.
CIG also reiterated how the 1.0 column works: features and content listed there are planned for inclusion in or before Star Citizen 1.0, which means you may see them arrive earlier if they become ready. Once those items are prepared for release, they can move left into a point patch column. Very orderly, very sensible, and only slightly less complicated than landing at Orison in a crosswind.

Mission Giver: Recco Battaglia remains Tentative while the team continues implementing her and her missions for a future Alpha 4.10 PTU build.
Alpha 4.10 is currently available in Wave 1, and CIG is asking testers to jump into the PTU, try the currently available features, read the Patch Notes for what is included, and share feedback in the dedicated Feedback threads as each feature is introduced and refined across upcoming PTU builds.
