Star Citizen Roadmap Roundup - May 20, 2026

CIG’s May 20, 2026 Roadmap Roundup sets multiple Alpha 4.8 cards to Released and commits Space Combat Missions - Defend Location.

Star Citizen Roadmap Roundup - May 20, 2026

CIG’s May 20, 2026 Roadmap Roundup accompanies the latest Release View update, giving you a short explanation of the decision-making behind the changes. The stated goal remains more transparent, specific, and useful communication for the players helping make Star Citizen and Squadron 42 possible.

CIG also reiterated how the 1.0 column works: it showcases features and content planned for inclusion in or before Star Citizen 1.0. That means you may not need to wait until the full 1.0 release to experience everything listed there, as ready items can migrate left into a point patch column for release. Sensible enough, which is always a pleasant surprise in deep-space logistics.
