This Week in Star Citizen - October 20, 2025

Alpha 4.3.2: Fractured Frontiers went Live last week, bringing with it the eerie Yormandi encounter, enhanced Structural Salvage mechanics, and an upgraded FPS Tractor Beam. Three new ships also joined the fight — the Esperia Stinger, the Anvil Paladin, and the Greys Market Shiv — alongside fresh weapons, quality-of-life tweaks, and the kickoff of Phase 1 of the Frontier Fighters Finale, which closes out the Pyro Must Burn saga. Pilots can check the full Patch Notes for all the details and jump into reconnaissance efforts immediately.

Meanwhile, the Day of the Vara 2955 festivities continue across Stanton and beyond. Between pumpkin decorating and horror story contests, there’s plenty to keep creative citizens busy. Players can also earn a Spectrum badge, take part in the limited-time Kill Collector mode in Arena Commander for exclusive Halloween masks, and enjoy themed ship paints through November 3.

CIG’s teams are currently gathering community feedback on 4.3.2 while gearing up for future events and preparing Alpha 4.4.0 for its first Evocati test round.

Maintenance & Technical Updates

On Wednesday, October 22, the servers will undergo maintenance starting at 12:00 p.m. UTC and lasting approximately four hours. During this downtime, all gameplay systems will be offline. Players can follow progress updates on the RSI Status Page.

The patch will address several Live build issues — commodities not selling correctly at TDDs, datapad pickup problems, and will also update Wikelo’s Emporium with the new Mission Pickup on Location feature, among other improvements.
