NemoCo was a human mining and terraforming corporation credited with the discovery of the Nemo system in 2364. The company found most of its success drilling for oil on Ergo before going bankrupt in 2704 after a failed move into the tourism industry.
History
NemoCo was founded in 2363 by Jawahir Norman, Sandeep Ellis, Demont Mau, and Dae-ho Ochoa. It obtained most of its early equipment from the Tadmor Terraforming Concern while that company was struggling with legal problems.
The company prospered for many years thanks to the vast oil reserves on Ergo (Nemo III). In 2704, however, NemoCo went bankrupt while attempting to convert its outdated oil rigs into tourist destinations.
