The Pyro RYT Multi-Tool is a handheld power-tool gadget manufactured by Greycat Industrial. The Multi-Tool's key feature is that it can accept various modules that enable it to perform a wide range of tasks. With this single tool a user can charge power systems, cut through objects and perform basic repairs, mine small mineral deposits, move objects with a small tractor beam, or even perform first aid. It can be folded when not in use. Due to its popularity, the word "multitool" is now used to refer to any handheld tools with attachments capable of light mining, scanning for minerals, repairing vehicles, moving objects via tractor beam, healing wounds, and cutting metal.

Attachments
The multi-tool has an attachment port on the front that can be switched out with different modules:
- OreBit Mining Attachment: Used for mining and scanning for minerals.
- OxyTorch Cutter Attachment: Used for cutting.
- TruHold Tractor Beam Attachment: Used for moving objects and travelling in EVA.
- LifeGuard Medical Attachment: Used for healing players and NPCs.
- Cambio-Lite SRT Attachment: Used for stripping or repairing vehicles.
Lore
The initial design of the Pyro RYT Multi-Tool was designed by Ruben Pardue during his time working with Titania Terraforming in the 24th Century. In his free time, he sketched ideas for new equipment that would be useful for constructing tunnels to transform Uriel. After Pardue left Titania after the Uriel tunnel collapse, he was hired by Greycat Industrial and the multi tool was released to the market some time after.
The popularity of the Pyro Multi-Tool upon its release so overwhelmed the company's supply chain that the backlog kept most customers waiting months for their order. This gave competitors time to design and sell cheap knockoffs. The ongoing battle with copycats and counterfeiters would consume significant company resources for centuries.
Theres also a special millitary version which has all modules integrated and is used by the UEE Military. This version of the Multitool isn't avaible in Star Citizen but it will be seen in Squadron 42.

- The original design was meant to be an Arc Welder.
- The logo of starcitizen.tools features two Pyro RYT Multi-Tools upside down on top of each other.
