History

QV Planet Services was founded in 2589, raising its initial capital by convincing investors that it could quickly build infrastructure and begin operations in the newly discovered Nyx system before other companies established a foothold there. After the United Empire of Earth (UEE) accepted its bid to operate in the system, the company followed through on its promise and rapidly built a network of infrastructure across Nyx.

In the 2630s, another company discovered large caches of many of Nyx's most valuable commodities elsewhere, which tanked market prices. QV Planet Services formally shut down in 2644 and abandoned its equipment, choosing to recoup its investors with the funding it had left rather than spend it dismantling the infrastructure.

The settlement Levski was founded from the remains of an abandoned QV Planet Services mining facility.
