A first-response capital ship

The Polaris was designed as a smaller and faster alternative to a full frigate. It can lead a militia group, patrol dangerous systems, support rescue work, and threaten much larger ships without requiring the crew or logistics of an Idris.

Built around speed and flexibility

A fighter hangar, cargo bay, medical station, brig, living spaces, and repair support let the Polaris move between combat and support duties during the same patrol.

More than a torpedo corvette

The Polaris combines heavy strike power with the facilities needed to command, support, and protect a small fleet.

Strike Twenty-eight Size 10 torpedoes

Four launch tubes and rotary feeders give the Polaris sustained anti-capital firepower instead of a single attack run.

Hangar Carry a fighter aboard

The internal hangar can support a small craft such as the RSI Scorpius for scouting, interception, escort, and utility work.

Support Stay useful between battles

Medical care, cargo storage, repair support, living spaces, and a brig keep the crew ready for long patrols and rescue missions.

Defense Layered turret protection

Manned and remote turrets are joined by seven point-defense cannons that protect the corvette from fighters and incoming ordnance.

Capital targets within reach

The Polaris uses its speed to reach the fight and its Size 10 torpedoes to damage ships well above its own weight class. The crew must identify the right target, manage a limited magazine, and keep the launch system supplied.

Identify Choose a target worth the torpedo

Size 10 torpedoes are intended for large, valuable ships rather than the fighters handled by the defensive turrets.

Launch Use speed to create the attack window

The Polaris can close quickly, launch its torpedoes, and turn away before a larger warship can keep it under fire.

Reload Keep the torpedo room working

Rotary feeders and nearby storage let the crew prepare follow-up launches during a longer engagement.

Run a long-range Polaris patrol

The Polaris can move from routine patrol to rescue work or a capital-ship engagement without returning to port between every task.

  1. Send the fighter ahead

Use the embarked craft to inspect a route, identify a threat, or reach an area that does not need the entire corvette.

  2. Coordinate the patrol from the bridge

Share navigation, sensor, weapons, and flight information between the stations responsible for the ship and its fighter.

  3. Match the response to the threat

Use the defensive turrets against fighters and save the Size 10 torpedoes for large ships that justify them.

  4. Treat casualties and resupply

Bring the fighter home, use the medical station when needed, and prepare the cargo and weapons for the next task.

A corvette built for long patrols

The interior connects command, weapons, flight operations, medical care, cargo handling, engineering, and crew accommodation around one working patrol ship.

Command Lead from the bridge

The bridge gives the crew the stations needed to navigate, coordinate a patrol, and manage a larger engagement.

Flight operations Support the embarked fighter

The hangar extends the Polaris's reach with scouting, interception, and utility support.

Medical Treat casualties aboard

An onboard medical station supports the crew and rescued personnel without an immediate return to port.

Logistics Carry 576 SCU of supplies

The cargo hold supports long patrols and provides space for mission supplies or torpedo reloads.
