What to know
The Prowler is an armored personnel carrier created by Esperia Incorporation. For the Prowler, approach control, protected seating, breaching or docking access, and extraction support serve close-quarters boarding work.
Prowler specifications
Protected delivery with the Prowler
The Prowler gives an embarked team a protected route to the landing zone and a safe way home, with the eight troop positions, eight side hatches, and airshield access supporting the exposed part of that movement. Eight side hatches let troops leave directly, while a rear ramp and forward port-side ladder provide additional access for boarding and recovery.

The spaces and systems behind deployment
With the Prowler, approach control, protected seating, breaching or docking access, and extraction support serve close-quarters boarding work.

Development note: The Prowler is flight ready and entered the live game in Alpha 3.9.0. Because Star Citizen remains in active development, specifications, features, and imagery may change over time.
Carrying the team safely aboard the Prowler
The Prowler carries people into a contested area with the eight troop positions, eight side hatches, and airshield access, direct exits, and protection for a fast deployment.

Eight side hatches let troops leave directly, while a rear ramp and forward port-side ladder provide additional access for boarding and recovery.
Sixteen secured troop positions and dedicated weapon racks carry an equipped team through the approach and keep its gear ready for deployment.
A low energy signature and precise low-altitude handling help the Prowler approach a landing area with less warning and place its sixteen troops close to the landing zone.
The Prowler keeps seats, equipment, and the route to each exit clear before the team reaches the landing zone.
Weapon and gear storage lets the people aboard the Prowler prepare without carrying loose equipment through the cabin.
Tevarin deployment built around direct access
The Prowler carries eight troops in an armored, low-signature dropship. Four airshielded hatches on each side let the team leave directly, while a rear ramp and retractable wing quills support regrouping, extraction, and protection on the ground.

Eight troop positions, eight side hatches, and airshield access
Reduced detection and precise low-altitude control help the Prowler reach a deployment point with less warning.
Direct airshield access prevents the whole squad from waiting on one ramp or conventional airlock.
When the ship is landed, the extended quills add physical protection near the drop doors while troops move back aboard.
From approach plan to protected pickup in the Prowler
The Prowler succeeds when the people aboard can deploy ready, use the eight troop positions, eight side hatches, and airshield access for protection, and return through a planned pickup route.

-
Give flight crew and ground team one insertion plan
The team aboard the Prowler prepares its seats, equipment, exit order, and fallback point before the ship enters the dangerous part of the route.
-
Protect the final approach
On the Prowler, armor, weapons, and flight control serve the same goal: put the team where it can begin work.
-
Let the embarked team leave ready to act
On the Prowler, before departure, the team reviews how the eight troop positions, eight side hatches, and airshield access will support deployment and pickup.
-
Keep an extraction route open for the team
The Prowler's pilot preserves enough fuel, protection, and access to recover the team when the mission changes.
The Prowler, from embarked seats to pickup point
The Prowler combines its eight troop positions, eight side hatches, and airshield access with protected seating and clear exits so the team can leave quickly after landing or boarding.

The Prowler can isolate its pilot and copilot behind Kelsun composite cockpit shields derived from Tevarin design.
The wings of the ship retract to function as its landing gear. When the ship is on the ground, wing quills extend to enhance physical protection, especially against ballistic threats and small-arms fire.
The ship has two Size 5 gun hardpoints located beneath its wings, in addition to a rear-facing remote turret positioned on the upper section, which can accommodate two Size 3 guns.
Inside the Prowler, seats, equipment stowage, and clear crew routes prepare the people aboard for their first movement after arrival.
The embarked team gives the Prowler its objective
The Prowler's flight crew and embarked team need one plan for approach, exit order, covering support, and recovery.

Carrying the team in the Prowler
Approach, seating, exit order, and recovery are planned together so the Prowler can deploy its team under fire.
For the Prowler, everyone aboard should know the destination, fallback point, and first movement after the doors open.
Aboard the Prowler, before departure, the team reviews how the eight troop positions, eight side hatches, and airshield access will support deployment and pickup.
Aboard the Prowler, a known pickup point and extraction signal give the deployed team a practical route home.
