Star Citizen Alpha 4.3.1 Patch Notes: Virtue’s Descent
Alpha 4.3.1 drags us back into the abyss. What started deep in Onyx with Dr. Jorrit’s warped experiments isn’t over—not by a long shot. We made it out once, but the job’s unfinished and the nightmares have only grown. This patch is about pressing deeper into the madness and facing what’s been left behind. No turning back now.
Version & Scope
Alpha 4.3.1: Virtue’s Descent — narrative-driven content update continuing the Onyx storyline with new missions, locations, and threats tied to Dr. Jorrit’s experiments.
Key Changes
- Deeper & Darker: Jorrit’s twisted experiments revealed in Onyx escalate; survivors are called back to confront unfinished horrors lurking in the abyss.
- Ammonia Staggering: The Rolling Ice Planet known as Bruder (on the far edge of the green band near Oretani V) is highlighted as both a study zone and political neutral ground. Exploiting its Vedic cargo is risky, attracting everything from diplomats to Cutlass Black crews.
- Uncovered Secrets: Players encounter tortured creatures in underground prisons, watch ASD workers and scavengers consumed alive, and face the looming detonation of an unstable power core poised to erase all traces of Jorrit’s atrocities.
- Back into Darkness: Site B opens, demanding retrieval of more biological samples to fully understand what was concealed. Missions push players to put an end to Jorrit’s hidden legacy for Humanity’s sake.
- Vehicles: New vehicle-related promotions are tied to Alpha 4.3.1. (Details were presented as RSI Store promotion material.)
