1. Choose the safest recovery point

   Use the patient's location, nearby hazards, and landing access to decide whether to recover directly or meet another rescue team.

2. Bring the patient straight to treatment

   Keep the route from the entry point to the prepared medical bed clear and ready.

3. Continue care during the flight

   Monitor and stabilize the patient while the flight crew heads for the receiving hospital.

4. Complete the hospital handover

   Pass the patient's condition, treatment record, and next medical need to the receiving team.
