Star Citizen 4.10.2 Hotfix Tests Target ASOP Retrieval and Courier Bugs
Stuck at a ship terminal or sent into a trespass zone for a delivery? Three targeted fixes are being tested in 4.10.2—here is what they cover.
Getting to the spaceport should be the start of a flight, not the end of the evening. A new Star Citizen 4.10.2 server hotfix is being tested against three faults that can interrupt that trip or strand a courier at the wrong doorstep.
Build 12956035 is testing on multiple Live shards, according to the 17 October Hotfix Central update checked on 19 October. It targets:
- Greyed-out Retrieve buttons at vehicle terminals.
- IASI Courier packages appearing in trespassing areas.
- Vehicle claim timers disappearing after closing and reopening an ASOP terminal.
These are targeted tests. The announcement does not establish that every server has received the build or that those problems are resolved everywhere.
Ship access is the immediate priority
The two terminal fixes address different frustrations: being unable to request a vehicle, and losing sight of the wait after making a claim. For a short session, either can consume the time you meant to spend flying. The courier change matters for much the same reason: reaching a collection point should move the job forward, rather than leave you weighing up a trespass warning.
A missing Deliver option is a separate known issue. The 4.10.2 support list names Levski and Checkmate, with other locations possible, and suggests restarting the game or trying elsewhere. Rental ships missing from ASOP are also listed separately. Neither should be treated as confirmed fixed simply because a Retrieve-button correction is in testing.
For the difference between retrieving a ship and replacing one, our ASOP recovery guide covers claims, insured loadouts and bricked hulls.
No extra client download is announced for this test
The status block lists Live client 12913470, server build 12939222 and the newer server test. The HOTFIX launcher channel is currently closed. There is no instruction to switch channels for 12956035.
The preceding server update addressed crashes and Discovery Month total-score calculations. That does not make the newest ASOP and courier changes part of the same completed rollout.
For now, the useful expectation is modest: specific fixes are being tried where players are already encountering the faults. A successful retrieval on one shard is welcome, but it is not evidence that every terminal or courier contract is clear. We will need a wider-release confirmation before calling these problems fixed across Live.
