Star Citizen Roadmap Roundup - April 8, 2026

A quick breakdown of the April 8, 2026 Star Citizen Roadmap Roundup, including Alpha 4.7 releases, Alpha 4.8 tentative additions, and the latest Release View changes.

Star Citizen Roadmap Roundup - April 8, 2026

CIG’s latest Roadmap Roundup keeps the usual cadence rolling, with a reminder that the 1.0 column covers content planned for Star Citizen 1.0 or earlier, meaning some of it can still move into a point patch before that milestone arrives. In other words, not everything in that column is waiting for the far horizon.

This update’s real movement sits in the Release View, where Alpha 4.7 sees a pair of vehicles cross the line, while Alpha 4.8 picks up several tentative additions ranging from cooperative fleet combat to fresh character customization. A small note also lands for the KSAR Plasma Grenade, though this one is more presentation than status shift.
