History
In 2733, a group of students at the University of Mentor on Mentor used a bushel of Blue Bilva as the basis for an experimental homemade spirit. The resulting concoction retained a sweet flavor profile alongside a powerful alcoholic strength and proved popular at the students' next party. Blue Bilva brandy continued as a student-made spirit enjoyed by locals until 2872, when it was smuggled to the University of Rhetor on Reisse and underwent a surge in popularity, becoming a campus party favorite.
Following the increase in demand, three University of Mentor students founded the company in 2875, with B3 as its flagship beverage. Other accounts give the founding as 2874. The drink is especially popular with the Elite Naval Guard garrison on Persei.
