The Naval Flight Academy was established in 2632, making it one of the oldest service academies within the UEE.
Many graduates of the Naval Flight Academy see various combat roles within the Navy, however some go on to pilot capital and support vessels utilized by the Navy as well. It’s not about piloting the most cutting-edge ship or traveling to the farthest reaches of the universe, forging connections that will last your entire life, fighting to protect your home and loved ones, or even learning what you’re truly capable of. Training
Before specializing, academy recruits must master a variety of fundamental piloting disciplines. This training phase is crucial to ensuring pilots’ versatility in the field. The training focuses on four areas:
- Single-Seat Combat Engagements.
- Combat search & rescue.
- Troop Transport.
- Logistical Supply Convoy Training.
Requirements
To advance, candidates must meet four strict eligibility pillars to ensure they are fit for the demands of High Command:
- VX-330: Passing all VX-330 physical performance tests.
- Medical Clearance: Receiving a clean physical and mental bill of health.
- Background Check: Passing a clean check and proving eligibility for high-level security clearance.
- DX-334: Successfully passing a DX-334 psychological profile test.
Teams of Flight
After a period of general flight instruction, pilots are assigned to specialized training based on their individual aptitude, qualifications, and the current needs of the service:
- Single Seat Combat Pilot.
- Multi-Crew Pilot.
- Reconnaissance & Intelligence
- Research & Development
Submission
. An important step of the formal training process is the submission of the official Application Form. Upon submission, a duplicate copy is automatically sent to the candidate’s current Commanding Officer for review, and all applications are permanently filed with the UEE Military Records departement for archival purposes.
