Small, fast, and heavily armed for its size
At 13.7 metres long, the Basher is a compact single-seat fighter. It relies on agility and a difficult-to-hit silhouette rather than heavy armour or deep shielding.
JUNKYARD-BUILT LIGHT FIGHTER
Six guns. One tiny target.
The Basher strips light-fighter design down to speed, a very small silhouette, and six Size 2 guns. It is quick, agile, and difficult to hit, but light protection means every mistake matters.
THE MARKET IS OPEN
Grey's Market built the Basher around one blunt idea: put more guns on a smaller fighter. Its six Size 2 weapons, two twin missile racks, and compact silhouette make it dangerous in a close dogfight, while its low durability keeps the pilot honest.

At 13.7 metres long, the Basher is a compact single-seat fighter. It relies on agility and a difficult-to-hit silhouette rather than heavy armour or deep shielding.

The Basher is currently flight ready and available in-game. Because Star Citizen remains in active development, specifications, features, and imagery may change over time.
COMBAT PACKAGE
Six guns give the Basher its punch, but the full package depends on getting close, keeping the nose on target, and using speed to stay out of sustained return fire.

Six pilot-controlled Size 2 guns give the Basher unusually dense direct fire for such a small fighter. The mounts accept other weapons of the same size.

The Basher is significantly smaller than other light fighters, making it harder to track and hit when the pilot keeps it moving.

Light-fighter handling lets the Basher change direction quickly and stay active in close dogfights where larger ships struggle to follow.
Two launchers carry a total of four Size 1 missiles, giving the pilot a second way to pressure a target outside the six-gun battery.
The Basher's guns are new, but they are not locked to the ship. Each mount can take another compatible Size 2 weapon when the pilot wants a different loadout.
A weapon rack made from broken fencing and a filing cabinet used for personal storage carry the Grey's Market approach into the space behind the seat.
DEFINING FEATURE
The Basher carries six Size 2 guns and four Size 1 missiles under one pilot's control. That is a lot of firepower for such a small ship, but it comes with less protection than other fighters in the same class.

The Basher does its best work when the pilot can point the full Size 2 battery at the same target and keep it there through the turn.
The twin racks give the pilot four small missiles for forcing a reaction, interrupting an escape, or opening a short window for the guns.
The Basher is less durable than other light fighters. Its speed and small size are the protection, so staying too long in a bad position is costly.
CLOSE-RANGE COMBAT
The Basher is built for pilots who are comfortable fighting at short range. A successful attack is quick, deliberate, and over before the fighter's light protection becomes the story.

Approach from a direction that makes the small fighter difficult to track before the guns open fire.
Keep the nose steady long enough for all six Size 2 guns to work on the same target.
Change direction, use the compact silhouette, and avoid giving the opponent a clean shot back.
If the angle is gone or incoming fire starts to connect, use the Basher's agility to leave and reset.
GREY'S MARKET ENGINEERING
The Basher borrows familiar ideas and parts from several ships, then joins them with visible repairs, exposed wiring, rough metalwork, and a cockpit built for function.
Large engines sit close to the rear-mounted cockpit, giving the Basher the stance of a stripped-down hot rod rather than a conventional production fighter.
Buccaneer, Gladius, Aurora, and Avenger influences are visible across an airframe that looks repaired, reused, and rebuilt rather than factory-finished.
Patchwork mesh, a Drake-style dashboard, and uneven electrical behavior make the cockpit feel assembled by someone who valued a working ship over a neat one.
The removable crane lines up with the reticle as a rough visual aiming guide. A forward camera gives the pilot a clearer view when the crane becomes distracting.
ONE-SEAT FIGHTER
Flying, targeting, six guns, four missiles, damage awareness, and the decision to disengage all stay with one pilot. The Basher rewards quick choices and punishes tunnel vision.
The cockpit is rough, exposed, and unmistakably Grey's Market. Patchwork mesh and visible wiring surround a direct view forward, with the crane acting as an optional aiming reference.
The Basher cannot afford to trade damage, so incoming fire and escape space matter as much as aim.
Compatible Size 2 weapons can be swapped, letting the pilot build a consistent range and ammunition plan.
A clean break and another attempt are better than staying in place once the Basher starts taking hits.
