Buying Upgrades? Make sure you are getting a correct one!
C2 Hercules - Standalone Ship
Standalone CCU'ed is a complete ship or vehicle. It is not an upgrade! CCU'ed simply means that it was created by upgrading a smaller ship or vehicle to the one you are buying. Please also note that in the gift email, only the ship that was used as the base for upgrading will be named. Please don't worry, the actual ship you will see in your hangar will be the one you've ordered.
For example, this is how a CCU'ed Polaris looks like in hangar on RSI website.
When you unfold the details you can see that it actually contains a Polaris
Original Concept is a ship or vehicle that is not upgraded in any way or form and comes with Life Time Insurance (LTI). They are usually sought after by collectors. Here is an example image of Original Concept Carrack.
Some rare packages like Collectors Edition ones might be categorized as Original Concept even if they were upgraded, but that's because the main value comes from the original package that is included and not the upgrades. In those cases the upgrades will be listed in the title and exact contents shown in the screenshots of the listing.

Standalone Not CCU'ed
Standalone NOT CCU'ed ships and vehicles as the name suggests are simply items that were not upgraded. They are similar to the Original Concept ones but they do not have LTI.

C2 Hercules Starlifter
The C2 Hercules Starlifter is a civilian heavy lift transport developed by Crusader Industries, built to move massive payloads with confidence. Using the patented Hercules military-grade spaceframe and expanding cargo capacity while sacrificing barely any firepower, the C2 has become a go-to hauler across the private sector. It is widely used by racing teams, ship dealers and manufacturers, construction organizations, mining corporations, and large touring entertainment outfits that demand reliable large-scale logistics.
Cargo Capacity and Vehicle Hauling
The C2 Hercules carries 696 SCU of cargo in a large internal hold designed for high-volume transport. It can also carry ground vehicles, including large platforms like the Nova, Ballista, and Spartan. Large front and rear ramps simplify loading and unloading, making the C2 ideal for fast turnarounds and heavy equipment moves.
Internal Storage and Stowage Options
Beyond its main hold, the C2 includes extensive stowage for personal and operational gear. It features 2,890 KµSCU of internal storage for personal equipment, plus six 1,500 KμSCU storage units along the center of engineering. Dedicated EVA suit lockers and gun racks in the bridge hallway support mission readiness, and a small bridge console compartment can hold two small firearms or tools such as a multi-tool.
Easy Access Components for Maintenance
Key ship components are accessible from inside the vehicle, allowing crews to maintain or repair systems without going outside the ship. This improves safety and speeds up servicing during busy cargo runs or remote operations.
Living Areas and Crew Comfort
The Starlifter is built for long hauls with spacious living areas that feel like a home away from home. Crew quarters include beds, bathrooms, personal areas, and storage. A separate crew rest room adds seating, a kitchen, and a large monitor for watching Spectrum content, supporting comfort and morale during extended deployments.
Defensive Firepower and Pilot Control
While cargo is the priority, the C2 can still hit back when required. It comes with two forward-facing, pilot-controlled Size 5 gun hardpoints that can be discreetly concealed, plus a rear-facing remote turret that can mount a pair of Size 4 guns. This gives the C2 credible deterrence without compromising its role as a heavy lift transport.
